One of the events that we look forward to every September is our annual TBC Week of Prayer. During the week we set aside time to pray for our church family and to seek God for what his priorities for us are, as well as praying for our community and the world. This year our week of prayer is the week beginning Monday 9th September. We have decided to have a simplified programme of prayer meetings during the week this year – in recent years we have had quite a number of different organised prayer times throughout the week, which has meant that most of them have been extremely small in number. This year we are going to have just two formal gatherings for prayer, on the Tuesday and Thursday evenings, both from 7.30pm, and we would like to encourage everyone to come to one or other of these or, if at all possible, to come to both. The worship room will also be open each day with prayer stations available for private prayer throughout the week, so please do make use of those too. The Saturday at the end of the week is our church Away Day and then the Sunday is our annual Vision Sunday, so it’s going to be an exciting week of seeking God together – please join us for as much of it as you can.
