DESCRIPTION:Tenebrae is a word meaning “shadows”.  For hundreds of yea
 rs God’s people have held Tenebrae services on Maundy Thursday or Good F
 riday during which we reflect on the pain\, betrayal and darkness of the e
 vents leading up to Jesus’ death.  It’s a service full of drama\, mys
 tery\, symbolism and hope.  On Sunday the light bursts forth\, but on Thu
 rsday evening we are going to dwell for a while in the shadows…\n\nThe s
 ervice will take place in the Thomas Room at 7.00pm.\n\n
